I’m a low volume watchmaker as I do this next to my day job. I handle around 2 watches a month. I only offer movement servicing/repairs. I have parts in stock for a lot of movements, gens and reps. I do not offer: gold plating, crystal/bezel replacing, polishing and chamfering etc.

I only reply to service requests through my website. After a service request you will be put on a waiting list. Once I notify you to ship, you have 1 week to ship. If you do not ship within one week, your spot in waiting list will be gone.

Turnaround time is around 2-4 weeks after receiving the watch.

It is not necessary to service a watch that still functions.

Movement Servicing

A full service includes complete disassembly of the movement, with all individual parts cleaned in 4 stages to remove old oils and dirt.
Each component is then inspected under a microscope for wear and replaced if necessary. The movement is carefully reassembled and lubricated with high-quality Swiss oils/greases.

After assembly, several tests are carried out, including timekeeping checks on a timegrapher and regulation of the movement.
Waterproofing if requested: the caseback and crown gaskets are checked and replaced if necessary, are then re-greased, and the watch is pressure tested for water resistance up to 60 m / 6 bar.

Terms Of Service

Servicing steps and duration

Turnaround time is 2-4 weeks depending on complexity of the movement and whether parts have to be ordered.

  1. You request a service through the request form. I will give an estimate incase any part needs to be replaced.

  2. You send the watch when I say so. You have 1 week to send.

  3. Start service. Watch is first tested and disassembled for inspection of each part under my microscope.

  4. After finishing servicing you will receive timegrapher pictures. And if you chose for waterproofing, you will also get pictures of the testing.

  5. Watch is sent after payment and you get a tracking code from me. Shipping is not included in the service price. I use PostNL.
